Is this legal advice?
The memo you receive is legal analysis prepared for you as part of a limited-scope engagement, reviewed and approved by a licensed Georgia attorney before delivery. It is not general information — it's a specific assessment of your case. General content on this website, by contrast, is informational only and not legal advice.
Does uploading documents create an attorney-client relationship?
No. An attorney-client relationship for the case review is formed only after you complete the conflict check and sign the limited-scope engagement agreement, before any document upload is enabled.
What if you have a conflict of interest?
We run a conflict check against the parties in your case before any documents are uploaded. If a conflict exists, we'll let you know and won't proceed with a review.
How is AI used in the review?
Directly, and we'd rather be upfront about it than pretend otherwise: AI-assisted tools do the first pass — organizing the record and drafting a starting memo — in a fraction of the time that would otherwise take hours of billable work. Every draft is then reviewed, edited, and personally approved by a licensed attorney before it's ever sent to you. The tools change how fast you get an answer; they don't change who's accountable for it.
Why a flat fee* instead of an hourly rate?
Because we're not going to bill you by the hour for work that increasingly takes minutes. Plenty of firms now use the same kind of AI-assisted tools we do — they just don't mention it, and still bill as if every draft took a paralegal all afternoon. We'd rather price honestly for how the work actually gets done and let the flat fee* speak for itself.
What happens to my documents?
Documents are uploaded to encrypted, access-controlled storage and are only used for your case review. They are not shared with third parties.
What if my case looks strong for appeal?
You can choose to engage us for full appellate representation. The review fee is credited toward that engagement.
What if my case looks weak?
We'll tell you plainly, along with the reasoning. Many litigants find real value in knowing that before spending far more on a full appeal.
* Our flat fees cover the attorney work described for your matter. They do not include court filing fees, process-server or other service fees, court reporter and transcript fees, record or document retrieval fees, postage, or similar third-party costs. Those are billed separately, at cost.
