FairCounsel exists because too many everyday lawsuits cost more to handle with a lawyer than the case is worth, so people go without one. Why we built Debt Defender™

Debt lawsuits are where this problem hits hardest. A credit card company, a lender, or a debt buyer files a case, the person served is often overwhelmed, and hiring a lawyer by the hour feels out of reach for a claim of a few thousand dollars. Answer deadlines are short, and when no one responds, the plaintiff can win by default without ever proving its case.

Our attorneys have spent years defending these cases. Debt Defender puts that experience within reach: a guided intake, a response prepared quickly, and an attorney who reviews and approves it before it reaches the court, all for a flat fee based on the amount claimed.

Why we built Second Look™

The same gap shows up after a loss. Litigants who lost at trial, or received an unfavorable order, often consider an appeal without a candid, independent read on whether it is worth the cost. Every Second Look review is personally reviewed and approved by an attorney, and the goal is simple: give you an honest answer, even when that answer is “this isn’t worth appealing.”
